2009 Summer Concert Series at the JCC

Come relax, bring your dinner, sip a glass of wine, grab your friends and listen to four special concerts. Concert Schedule: May 2: Smokin' Blues Band. June 16: Frank Yanowitz Group - Jazz. July 7: New Deal Swing Quintet - Tribute to Benny Goodman. August 4: It's party time with The Desert Wind Players. Terance Hansen from The School of Rock leads the charge with his Hendrix revival mind-spinning guitar work. Bass master Berno Danylik takes 70's funk to the next level when matched with the dazzling keyboard adventures of our own Alan Bachman. Of course that comes with Andalin's screaming flute answer to Jethro Tull, and the one and only Isaiah Stewart holding down the drummer's groove on Truckin. Add Mr. Raj's percussion spice, vocal harmonies and Desert Wind's state of the art sound, the high energy swing and the rocking tempos and you won't be sitting for long. Bring your own dinner or buy a sandwich from our own Judge at the J Caf. Beer, wine and soft drinks are also available for purchase. This is the final concert in the summer series. It is FREE and open to everyone.
