Hosanna: The Final Days in the life of Christ

'Hosanna' is a truly impressive oratorio work featuring vocalists George Dyer, Greg Pearson, and Catherine Hyde Stambaugh. Lex de Azevedo, composer and musical director of the oratorio, will be at the piano. Highlights are magnificently performed by the virtuoso violin playing of Jenny Oaks Baker. It also features two choirs: de Azevedo's Millennium Choir along with an antiphonal choir from Davis, Salt Lake and Utah counties. All the music is set to lyrics drawn solely from the King James Version of the Bible, chronicling the last week of the Christ's earthly ministry from His entry to Jerusalem to Golgotha and on to His triumphant resurrection. This profound and meditative work is a wonderful prelude to Easter for people of all faiths. Additional Information: Preferred seating tickets can be purchased online for $20 and at the door for $25.
