The Days of '47 Pageant has been an annual event since 1947. A queen and two attendants are chosen from a group of young women, all who are descendants of Utah pioneers. The pageant includes judges' interviews and on-stage questioning in street and formal wear. Scholarships for higher education are given to each of the winners.
