Art at the Main challenged its member artists to Upcycle trash into treasures for its upcoming group show. The results include a half dozen chickens nesting in recycled tins, paper mache ducks, recycled paintings, and collages with found objects. As always, Art at the Main features a variety of styles, subjects, and media all original and priced affordably. The public is invited to meet the artists at a reception during Gallery Stroll, April 17 from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Art at the Main shared the Upcycle challenge with area schools. Two schools Churchill Junior High and The Waterford School accepted the challenge and will display students' collaborative works in the Library's Urban Room May 2-May 15.
