Move over Gabriella, Susan, Bree, and Lynette. Here comes the Heritage Theatre's production of The Women. It's Sort of a Desperate Housewives set in the late 40's. Playwright and Author, Clare Luce Booth wrote the original play in 1937 after listening in on the gossip and conversations of women at the beauty salons, tea rooms, restaurants and night club rest rooms of the 1930's.
