The abstract painter Hans Hoffman stated "Painters must speak through paint, not through words." Sonya Dinsdale's recent abstract works speak through the movement of paint, chalk, paper and fabric. Strong brush strokes and counter parallel panes carry you through the picture plane, creating a sensation of depth and rhythm. Each piece expresses movement of time, movement of space, and movement through life.
