Phillips Gallery is pleased to exhibit new work by emerging artist, Dave Malone. His spontaneous abstract paintings involve scenes of micro-environments and abstract landscape interwoven with organic forms. His unrestrained palette of color and graphite drawing creates a web of known and unknown shapes referencing objects from nature and the occasional industrial form. Line, flow and repetition create balance and depth, harnessing the disorder to give his work structure. The effect is at once energetic and deliberate.
