      Femi's father, Fela Kuti, was in a way Africa's answer to James Brown, musically speaking. Just as James was promoting the new funk sound here in the states in the 70's, Fela was creating a popular new sound of his own dubbed Afro Beat. Funky, rhythmic dance music with a strong political message and nice jazz undertones. Please come ready to dance the night away. NO SITTING AROUND LIKE LAST TIME!!! Collapse
