This inspirational and uplifting Sunrise Service on July 24 at 7am will be held in the historic Tabernacle on Temple Square. It will feature a flag-raising ceremony by the "Mormon Battalion" and an inspiring keynote address by Elder Marlin K. Jensen of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Elder Jensen is currently serving as executive director of the Church History Department and as the Church Historian/Recorder. Some 300 singers will perform patriotic and inspirational music conducted by Dr. Michael Huff. The Days of '47 Royalty will be in attendance.
