The Pioneer Park Picnic Series is a new addition to Salt Lake City's great summer events. Close to downtown restaurants, hotels and businesses, Pioneer Park is a wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing lunch while listening to local musicians. The series started in August 2008 and will return for summer 2009. Enjoy performances from local artists during your lunch hour. Bring a lunch or grab something from one of the local restaurants near the park. Plus, you can check out all the new amenities at Pioneer Park since its recent 'facelift' - the new walking trail, off-leash dog area, updated bocce ball court and more!
