America's Freedom Festival at Provo

Open to all children ages 5 to 14 yrs. Each child may submit one original piece of art on any subject. Paintings of oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastels, drawing, or mixed media will be accepted. (No glitter, beans, macaroni, etc.) For artwork to be accepted, it must be framed and wired for hanging, (eye screws and wire) and no larger than 20' x 24'. Artwork will be accepted June 27 from 10:00am-12:00pm. Special awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, and Honorable Mentions in each of the age categories. A special award will also be given to the best work of art with a patriotic theme. A reception and awards ceremony will be held on July 3 from 6:00pm-9:00pm at the Health and Justice Building. Awards program for ages 5-8 years old held at 7:00pm, ages 9 -14 years held at 8:00pm. Program includes special guest performances, refreshments, certificates and prizes for all those who enter.
