Grand Opening of GARFO Gallery at VAI

Join the Visual Art Institute for the grand opening of the new Garfo Gallery, themed around the year VAI moved into Garfield. A group show, consisting of nine Salt Lake artists Trent Call, Jan Andrews, Tessa Lindsey, Brian Patterson, Gentry Blackburn, Davina Pallone, Mary Toscano, Jim Williams, and Allison Baarthe exhibition looks back at the year 1982, through several different lenses; using a cross-section of ages and media. Garfo Gallery seeks to educate, expose, and enhance the relationship between students, community, and contemporary art by facilitating dialogue through quality exhibitions and events. As part of VAI, the gallery will work in concert with its mission, and includes a project room that will function as a student gallery.
