Book Signing and Presentation for The River Knows Everything

Author James M. Aton will show slides from and speak about his new book, The River Knows Everything: Desolation Canyon and the Green. The book is a history of the canyon and all the people who have lived along the river: Fremont and Ute Indians, ranchers, sheep herders, ferrymen and moonshiners. Aton's presentation will show photographs, both historic images and original work from professional photographer Dan Miller. This program has received funding from the Utah Humanities Council. The Utah Humanities Council promotes understanding of diverse traditions, values, and ideas through informed public discussion.
