"Too Much Memory is an adaptation of Antigone firmly set in the present. Playwright Keith Reddin and I used this classic play to ask when a country is in crisis, what are the rights of the individual? Of the government? How are we silenced? How do we lead? How do we maintain democracy? We've just come out of a groundswell of political activism demanding change. We're finding out it isn't so simple, it takes speaking up over and over. I find that where ever and when ever audiences experience Too Much Memory, the play mirrors the nuance of our current landscape." - Meg Gibson
