Western Stampede Celebration

The Western Stampede Celebration will soon begin with a demolition derby on June 27 at 7:00pm at West Jordan Arena. The Carnival will run from July 1-4 and will include park activities, entertainment, crafts, food, and more at Veterans Memorial Park. The Rodeo runs July 2-4 with pre-rodeo beginning at 6:30pm at the West Jordan Arena. The PRCA Rodeo begins at 7:30pm and the 4th of July Parade begins at 10:30pm on Redwood Road from 7000 South to 8000 South. There will be free movies in the park July 3 and 4. Fireworks light up the sky July 4 about 10:20pm. Ticket Price: July 2 - (family night) $9 General Admission. July 3-4 - Adults $11, Children $9, and all lower reserved seating $16.

      My husband and I have been going to the West Jordan Park for the 4th of July for 20+ years. The carnival, food and entertainment are wonderful. However, last year we found that the carnival wasn't there! We were perplexed by this discovery. I drove past this week to find that the carnival was back! Yeah! So Exciting! Thank You West Jordan!
