The Wallflowers' front-man and singer/songwriter Jakob Dylan gracefully bears the burden of being the youngest child of the legendary Bob Dylan. His stubborn will to have his music judged on its own merits helped The Wallflowers create a sound of rootless roots music that's vaguely retro country-folk rock with plenty of '60s antecedents, but with a keen sense of modern production and sturdy hooks.
