Connie Borup's work cannot simply be described as landscape; it is the transforming light of dusk - the after glow of day that spell-like, borders on dream and reverie. Her paintings are intimate places of contemplation, silent worlds undisturbed by humankind or any narrative reference. Raised in West Kaysville, Borup received her B.F.A. in 1973 and later went on to receive her M.F.A. in 1992, both from the University of Utah.
