Harmed, by artist Stephanie Wilde (Boise, ID), is about the corporate greed of the few, and its devastating effects on the many. This series of intimately detailed acrylic, ink and gold leaf works questions how corporate leaders have lost their moral compass. Depicting the debauchery of those in power, Harmed is about loss: moral, financial and perhaps most disheartening, loss of faith in the corporate world. On August 8 from 2:00pm-4:00pm, join the Salt Lake Art Center for Family Art Saturday. The exhibition Stephanie Wilde: Harmed explores the greed of the few and its devastating effects on the many; however, this Family Art Saturday offers kids and parents an opportunity to be generous and creative by making two charm pendants. Design one for yourself and another to share with a friend.
