MICROmacro and VAI Graduating Seniors' Show

Join the Visual Arts Institute for this exhibition challenging perspective and observation via scale. Each participating artist was asked to create at least two works: one intensely miniature, and one grossly oversized (literally or conceptually) that would bend the boundaries of scale and investigate the idea of micro and macro size relationships. Artists Nolan Baumgartner, Katherine Jones, Andrew Callis, Patrick Munger, Ben Wiemeyer, and Matthew Jones were chosen because they in many cases have an aptitude for one or the other. This exhibition is an opportunity to explore the opposite to stretch and squeeze their media. VAI graduating senior show will be featuring works by graduating seniors Alexandra Jameson, Kourtney Keisker, and Holland Larsen will be exhibiting work from their years at VAI in The Bookroom at Garfo Art Center, VAI's student gallery. This mini-retrospective will illustrate how students benefit from the arts education program at Visual Art Institute.
