Robert Cray is an American blues musician, guitarist, and singer. After several years of regional success, Cray was signed to Mercury Records in 1982. His third album release, Strong Persuader, produced by Dennis Walker, received a Grammy Award, while the crossover single 'Smokin' Gun' gave him wider appeal and name recognition.

      Thanksgiving Point has no idea what a Robert Cray concert should be like... The "security" was not allowing people to dance, unless you were standing right in front of your seat. Three girls gyrated... Expand

      Thanksgiving Point has no idea what a Robert Cray concert should be like... The "security" was not allowing people to dance, unless you were standing right in front of your seat. Three girls gyrated as they danced in front of the stage but were told to go back to their seats (lots of Booos from the crowd on this). These 3 girls went outside for a break and were not allowed to come back in and not given a refund. Robert Cray even said "you guys suck" at one point during the show, because the crowd was so subdued. We purchased tickets to a Robert Cray concert, this should have been advertised as a Robert Cray show for kids. Collapse
