Come see Utah Shakespearean Festival actors like you've never seen them before! On Thursday, July 16 at 11:00 p.m. REACH will present CABARET Night at The Grind coffee house as part of its annual summer series. The Utah Shakespearean Festival company members will put on a variety show to help raise funds for REACH, a program designed to aid company members find future employment. 'Through fundraisers like the cabaret, we bring in casting people, agents and directors from all over the nation to see our shows and audition us [Festival actors]. It is a way for the community to give and help the actors keep being actors,' says Marcella Rose Sciotto, Head Coordinator for REACH. Previous acts have included singing, dancing, instrumental music, impressions, skits, improv games, magic tricks, poetry, bird calls, juggling, staged readings, and more. The event is open to the public and 100% of proceeds go to support REACH activities.

      Please continue the Cabaret at The Grind. It is a wonderful way to experience the actors from the festival, on an informal basis. Seeing the actors performing in other facets of their acting abilities is enriching to the Cedar City community,tourists, as well as theater enthusiasts.The talent is top notch and varied . The show is always entertaining,rewarding and standing room only. Collapse
