Family Fitness Fair Meets Run for the Hills

Come one, come all, come run to the Family Fitness Fair and Run for the Hills Fun Day. There will be a kids' 1K fun run, and a 5 and 10K run for anyone and everyone else. After the kids' 1K, there will be children's play activities. Kids will use a Play Day Passport as their guide and they will rotate through various play stations that introduce age appropriate fitness activities. But the kids won't be having all the fun. The 5K and 10K races will challenge each runner to strive for their personal best. Goody bags will be given to everyone who is signed up for the race and prizes will be given away to each of the winners in the various categories for each race. After the races, participants are invited to gather on the patio for music and dinner. Finish off the day with a relaxing dip in the pool. What a way to celebrate your Labor Day Weekend! Schedule of Events: 4:00pm - Registration/Goody Bags 4:30pm - 1K Begins 4:30pm-6:00pm - Children's Activities 5:00pm - 5/10K Begins 5:30pm-7:30pm - Red Desert Trio (Bluegrass Band) 6:00pm-7:30pm - Healthy pasta dinner for the entire family 7:30pm-9:00pm - Finish the day off with a swim
