On September 11, 2001, the United States of America came under terrorist attack. In the months following those attacks, people around the world struggled to find solace. Mozart's final work, the Requiem, was performed over and over as the most fitting response to the unthinkable. On September 11, 2009, we will again remember the souls who perished in those attacks. Through Mozarts Requiem, we will pray for them and for their families. And we will remember those people who selflessly lost their lives trying to save others. Admission is free and donations of food or money will be given to the Utah Food Bank. Guest conductor, Dr. Michael Imperiale, will direct the 9-11 Memorial Chorus and Orchestra in performing one of the greatest requiems ever written.
