    Violinist Shi-Hwa Wang, pianist Ning Lu and string bassists Eric Hanson, and others, will be performing works by Reinhold Gliere, Erick Korngold and Josef Haydn. Program: Reinhlod Gliere (1875-1956, Ukranian, Soviet composer of Polish-German descent): 8 Pieces Op. 39 for Violin and string bass Josef Haydn (1732-1809 Austrian composer): Concerto for Violin and String Orchestra in C Major, performed wiht a Haydn-styled orchestra comprised of outstanding WSU students and alumni. This performance is to celebrate the 200 years of Haydn's death. Erich Korngold (1897-1957 Austrian-Czech composer): Violin Sonata Op. 6
