Add Review/CommentWeber State University Department of Performing Arts presents the Weber State Symphony Orchestra in its first concert of the 2009-2010 season, featuring the string section of the orchestra performing a variety of musical compositions spanning the 17th through 20th centuries. The program includes Mendelssohn's String Symphony No. 2 in D, Tchaikovsky's String Serenade, Opus 48, Vivaldi's Concerto Grosso, Opus 3 No. 11, and two short 20th century compositions, Kalinnikoff's Chanson triste, and Ives' Hymn for String Orchestra.
