Matsiko - A Ugandan Children's Choir

Westminster College's Music Department presents a performance by Matsiko, a children's choir from Uganda. Matsiko Children's Choir is comprised of 25 singers, ages 9 to 16. The children are orphans or at-risk children who are performing in the United States to promote the plight of children in Uganda and to help find more sponsors. Matsiko Choir is part of International Children's Network (ICN). To learn more about the ICN or to become a sponsor, visit www.icnchildren.net. After the performance, the children will be selling African jewelry and CDs. The event is sponsored Ten Thousand Villages Utah.
