Evening in the Art -- Gala Benefit for Bountiful/Davis Art Center

Bountiful/Davis Art Center is pleased to present 'Evening in the Art'. This formal evening will feature live entertainment by The Three Sopranos: Celena Shafer, Martha Gutierrez and Wendy Flanders. They have recently performed together as part of the Davis County Sunday Night Concert Series and each has performed independently with leading national and international orchestras and opera companies, including the Utah Symphony. Attendees will enjoy this outstanding performance while surrounded by the new Face to Face exhibit. This exhibit features artists' depictions of the human face and includes works from such well-known artists as Ruby Chacon, Robert Barrett, Brian Kirshisnik, Lee Udall Bennion, Ed Fraughton, Lester B. Lee, Anne Marie Oborn, Christopher Thornock, Trent Call, Anton Rasmussen, the late Alvin Gittins, and more. Works of artist Scott Durrant will also be on display in a companion exhibit. In addition to the performance and the exhibit, attendees may bid on 'Silent Auction' items and enjoy an array of film shorts playing throughout the evening in the theater area. Hors d'oeuvres and desserts will be served. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Bountiful/Davis Art Center and enable the BDAC to continue offering its wonderful community art programs to children and adults alike.
