Growing up in Ohio consisted of simple times with a love for music, sports and the outdoors. The balance of these components still are a part of her life philosophy. She was introduced to an eclectic genre of music from her parents at an early age. The exposure to jazz, blues, rock and country is reflected in her music and who she is as an artist today. Interest in guitar and singing started in her teens and has continued to grow and evolve throughout the years. Leaving her roots in the eighties, she headed west where the beautiful Utah skies meet the ridge tops of the Wasatch Mountains, the place she calls home. She has been performing with various musicians from a 5-piece rock band to theater productions and acoustic venues. In 2001 she started writing more original material and released her first solo CD. The same year, she got married and started a family, so spending more time at home seemed like the natural progression. Inspired by a sense of new emotional depth, her music started drifting down a more spiritual path. The release of her new CD, Cleanse my Soul is scheduled for fall, 2009.
