Keith Vaught bought his first digital camera and an annual state park pass in the spring of 2003. The unique beauty of the Great Salt Lake drew him to Antelope Island State Park as a frequent hiker and photographer. From the beginning, Vaught began sharing his pictures on the internet. In 2007, fellow photographer Charles Uibel suggested that Vaught send his pictures to KSL TV. For about one year, Vaught¹s pictures were frequently featured on the weather segment of the nightly news. In October 2007, Studio 5, a weekday morning show, did a story on Vaught's photography. Since then he has upgraded his camera to a Nikon DSLR. Vaught has displayed his photographs in shows at the Antelope Island Visitor Center, the Annual Bird Festival and the Ogden Art Show.
