Mystique: East Meets West is a concert of contrasts: East/West, Male/Female, Historic/Contemporary, Yin/Yang. Mystique features the legendary choreography of Michio Ito (1893-1961) with live music from Gina Bachauer musicians, a new work by Satu Hummasti titled Songs I Wanna Sing To You which explores the loneliness, joy and desires of relationships, and Kraak by Jo Stromgren that offers lightness and absurdity with explosive dynamic energy.
