Lecture: Claiming Earth as Common Ground Presented by Rabbi Andrea Cohen-Kiener. Can religious people save the environment? Rabbi Andrea Cohen-Kiener poses this question to us in what Bill McKibben calls her 'vital book,' Claiming Earth as Common Ground. Drawing from the shared values of many faith traditions--Judaism, Christianity, Islam and Buddhism-- Cohen-Kiener makes a compelling case for the urgency of people of faith to act together to expand the conversation about the fate of our earth through transformative care of creation.
