The panel will discuss Three Cups of Tea author Greg Mortenson's journey from making a promise to a village in Pakistan, to the creation of the Central Asia Institute's mission of building schools throughout the region. The panelists will provide their perspectives on their own journeys starting non-profits and how they gained support for their vision in the community. They will share their challenges and the importance of making sure they created an organization that can carry on their mission after they have moved on to other priorities. Attendees can expect a lively discussion and become inspired by what one person's vision can do to change the world.
