A Thousand Cranes tells the story of Sadako, a 12-year-old Japanese girl who, 10 years after the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in WWII, discovers that she has radiation sickness. While in the hospital she learns of a legend of 1,000 paper cranes and begins folding.

LOVED it! I was really impressed with how real and believable the characters were. The play also accomplishes so much with no set and very few props. It's a very sad and touching story. My kids loved... Expand

This children's production certainly isn't spectacular or grandiose in any way, but it does have a huge heart. The dedication and outpouring of soul oozing from each cast member resonates beautifully.... Expand
