    The lecture, "Chicken Soup for the Soulless: Three Philosophical Lessons from the World of The Undead" will cover the topics including the badness of death, our fear of death as it relates to our interest in the undead, and moral issues related to the undead. After the lecture all audience members are invited to see a free dress rehearsal of the production Eurydice, by Sarah Ruhl. Dr. Richard Greene is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Weber State University. He received his Ph.D in Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He does research in the theory of knowledge (primarily on skepticism) and the connections between philosophy and popular culture. He has co-edited several books on philosophy and pop culture including The Undead and Philosophy, Quentin Tarantino and Philosophy, The Golden Compass and Philosophy and the forthcoming Dexter and Philosophy.
