The Salt Lake Tango Project is a quartet consisting of David Asman on woodwinds, Steve Keen on accordion, John Thompson on violin and Todd Woodbury on classical guitar. They will perform nuevo tango compositions by Astor Piazzolla. The Tango Project is celebrated for bringing authentic Argentinian timbres and textures to Utah. Dancers from Wasatch Tango will translate the rhythms into visual grace.
