Birdhouse Competition
€ Entries are due March 29 - April 3
€ Awards presentation: April 14 at 5:30 pm
€ Exhibit showing April 15 - August 31
Get building! Nature lovers, designers, artists, crafts-people and others who give a hoot about birds are invited to enter their hand-crafted birdhouses in the 17th Annual Birdhouse Competition and Exhibit. All ages may enter up to two works, and there is no entry fee. For complete guidelines and an entry form, visit www.ogdennaturecenter.org. Earth Day Poster Contest Call For Entries
Entries due by 4 pm, Saturday, April 10
Hey kids -- get out your art supplies and thinking caps for the annual Earth Day Art Poster Contest. There is no fee to enter. Guidelines include:
€ Grade levels: K-6
€ Entries must be 9”x12” using the theme, “How I Help the Earth.”
€ Please do not glue anything onto your project
€ On the back of your art, please include the following information: name (first and last), school, grade (k-6 only), teacher, home phone and project title.
Art posters will be on display in the Ogden Nature Center’s LS Peery Education Center April 17 through June 4, 2010. Entries will not be returned, but may be picked up June 7 through June 12. After June 12 contest entries become the property of the Ogden Nature Center. Prizes will be awarded to four winners in each grade, with one grand prize winner per grade. The winners will be invited to an awards program on Earth Day, April 17, at 11 am. This annual contest is sponsored by ATK and Ogden City Arts.

Friday, April 30: 11 am or 1 pm
$4 per child / adult chaperones are free

Come celebrate all things new at the Ogden Nature Center. Whether green and growing, newly hatched, or shaky legs upon hooves setting out for the first time, appreciate your own growth and development in the mirror of nature. Please dress for the weather.
