    Abraham Foxman, Director of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), is known throughout the world as a leader in the fight against anti-Semitism, prejudice, bigotry, discrimination, and hatred. He has been awarded several honors from various statesmen, nonprofit groups, and religious figures, including the award and title of Knight of the Legion of Honor in 2006, the highest civilian honor in France. Foxman has helped focus worldwide attention on the heroic efforts of Christian rescuers of Jews, and has been a leader in developing education programs about the Holocaust.
