Carolyn Coalson’s abstract expressionist paintings contain a depth with which one can commune. Her broad brush strokes create a translucent effect giving the viewer a sense that they could actually dive right into her pools of color.
“There is a depth, a raw command of paint and canvas that sucks the viewer right into an emotion…(Her work) commands complete attention.” -Ann Poore
Coalson holds an MFA from the University of Utah and has a long history of exhibitions at Phillips Gallery. As a contemporary and close friend to the late Lee Deffebach she carries on the tradition of beautiful abstract expressionism.

Spanish born sculptor and ceramic artist, Francesc Burgos’s master’s degrees in architectural design, philosophy and fine art reveal themselves in his exploration of internal and external space. When you look at Burgos’s forms you get the impression that they are derived from ancient cultures; they truly are a combination of primitive and modern.
“I aim for forms that will have a strong presence and be intriguing, beautiful, proportionate and harmonic inside and out: the poetics of space”, says Burgos.
The result is an apparent simplicity and elegance that inspires quiet contemplation and peace…treasures in today’s hectic world
