Weber State University Department of Performing Arts presents an evening of opera scenes directed by Dr. Karen Brookens and performed by vocal music students in the department at the Allred Theater. The evening will include scenes from "Susannah" by Carlisle Floyd; "The Elixer of Love" by G. Donizetti, "La Traviata" by Giuseppe Verdi; "Anna Bolena" by G. Donizetti, "The Marriage of Figaro" by Mozart, "The Magic Flute" by Mozart; "Don Giovanni" by Mozart; and "Rigoletto" by Giuseppe Verdi. All scenes are fully staged with costumes, scenery and props. The Opera Program at Weber State University is flourishing with talent and opportunities. More and more students are starting to see and hear what Weber State University has to offer them in the area of opera study.
