Raised in the Bear River Valley, Tom Howard has an attachment to the land that runs deep. Surrounded by the vast expanse of land and mountains he learned at an early age that he loved to draw and paint the scenery that he called home. In 1981 Tom Howard set out to become a commercial artist but after several courses of study, he realized he wanted to pursue something more.
