Louisiana-born Kenny Wayne Shepherd grew up on the blues and began playing guitar when he was seven years old. He made his live performance debut when he was 13, along New Orleans bluesman Brian Lee. A multi-platinum recording artist, Kenny Wayne Shepherd has pounded out a string of #1 mainstream rock singles. Having received four Grammy nominations, two Billboard Music Awards, among many other accolades, Kenny Wayne Shepherd has lived more than half of his life in the spotlight. He is widely considered to be one of the best blues and rock guitarists of all time. Not too bad for a guy who's only 32!
