The Casino Star Theatre Foundation will present the Utah Shakespearean Festival's touring production of The Taming of the Shrew at Gunnison High School. This delightful production, set in the Wild West, translates Shakespeare's battle of the sexes from renaissance Italy to the 19th century American West?Petruchio sporting his six-guns and Kate flaunting her shotgun. The touring production is reduced to 90 minutes, brief enough to be enjoyable to even the most reluctant theatre-goer.
