Goin' courting has never been as much fun as in this rip-roaring musical. Bursting with the rambunctious energy of the original film, the stage version is all boisterous fun and romance that harkens back to the glory days of the movie musical. Presented through special arrangements with Music Theater International.

      This is about as good a community theater production of this show as you are likely to see. Deduct half a star for some of the acting, but otherwise a delight. With 7 brides, 7 brothers, and 7... Expand

      This is about as good a community theater production of this show as you are likely to see. Deduct half a star for some of the acting, but otherwise a delight. With 7 brides, 7 brothers, and 7 disappointed suitors, a lot of dancers are required: here they are. Great choreography and dancers up to the job. Scott Pathakis directs a superior orchestra, and the voices (especially Julie Nelson Blatter and Kelly Griffiths) were terrific. I'm hoping to be able to make a second trip, this time with some of my grandchildren. Collapse
