    Summer Solstice Concert featuring Cake

    CAKE will headline the Summer Solstice Show outdoors on the Amphitheater Stage at Library Square, Saturday, June 19 at 8 p.m.

    Tickets go on sale Monday, April 26 at 10 a.m. at www.summersolsticeshow.com. Tickets are general admission, lawn seating. Limited quantity per purchase.

    Indie rockers, CAKE, are best known for their hits “The Distance,” “Never There,” and their “Rarities and B-Sides”...

    CAKE will headline the Summer Solstice Show outdoors on the Amphitheater Stage at Library Square, Saturday, June 19 at 8 p.m.

    Indie rockers, CAKE, are best known for their hits “The Distance,” “Never There,” and their “Rarities and B-Sides” album in 2008 covering Black Sabbath's "War Pigs" and Barry White's "Never, Never Gonna Give You Up." The band is poised to release a new album this year.

    The Summer Solstice Show is a fundraiser for the 2010 Utah Arts Festival. Ticket purchase includes a 2 for 1 voucher to the Festival running June 24–27th.

        About the artist:
        Fernando Espindola has been playing Andean music since his early teenage years in Bolivia. As a native of Oruro, the city famous for having the most elaborate carnival in Bolivia, he was exposed to a concentration of folklore that would be difficult to equal anywhere else.
