The 48 Hour Film Project 2010 is taking place in over 70 cities around the world from April through November 2010. The Salt Lake City 48 Hour Film Project begins with a Kick Off event in June. The project celebrates their city's independent film community. Over the course of a weekend, filmmaking teams, comprised of local filmmakers, musicians, actors, etc., will write, shoot and edit a short film, which will be screened on the big screen the following week. The films are reviewed by a panel of film and video professionals and the Best Film from each city competes for the coveted Best Film of the 48 Hour Film Project 2010.
