Brett Parkinson M.D., director of breast care services at Intermountain Medical Center, author of 2 textbooks and leader of a medical mission to establish the first breast imaging and breast cancer clinic in the African nation of Tanzania, will discuss the importance of women having annual mammograms between the ages of 40 to 50. "Since one in eight women will develop breast cancer sometime during her life you owe it to yourself, your family, and your co-workers to schedule this important screening exam" says Parkinson. This presentation should clear up any confusion about when women should start getting a yearly mammogram.
