Pinnacle Acting Company presents An Ideal Husband by Oscar Wilde: A scintillating comedy by favorite Oscar Wilde. This production of An Ideal Husband, however, will not be your typical Wilde ... it'll be a lot Wilder! Calling on the Golden Age of Hollywood, actors will be playing multiple roles in a fast-paced approach to this classic. The plot revolves around a blackmail scheme that forces a married couple to re-examine their moral standards. Young lovers, society matrons, and a formidable femme fatale exchange sparkling repartee in this lively romp. Featuring: Melanie Nelson, April Fossen, Michael Burns, Jon McBride, Alyssa Dowe and Rhiannon Ross Directed by Mark Fossen.

      Not many days left to catch this excellent production of Wilde's play. Great direction and acting, and in particular the luminous Melanie Nelson as Mrs. Cheveley and Jon McBride as Lord Goring, master of the Wilde and witty repartee. I fault only the decision to roll the secondary and minor characters into two actors (actresses). It's confusing, and perhaps more than the actors in question can handle. Collapse
