The North American Welsh Choir, directed by Mari Morgan, will perform at Salt Lake's First Presbyterian Church Concert Series. The program will celebrate Utah's early Welsh Mormon settlers and their role in the founding of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. The North American Welsh Choir will also honor its Welsh roots performing both old and new favorites from Wales and Welsh North America. The audience will be asked to join the choir in the singing of several Welsh hymns (in English!) from the Mormon hymnal and others - a community sing time.
