Don't miss A Mac Dre Tribute featuring J-Diggs and Crest Creepers at In The Venue! J-Diggs born Jamal Diggs, is a veteran in life known more for his street mentality than he is known for his music. That took a drastic turn when his mentor and childhood friend the late Mac Dre was gunned down in a barrage of bullets on a cold early morning in Kansas City, Missouri. Many people who knew Mac Dre had either heard or seen J-Diggs, but many didn't know the true profoundness that this Vallejo, California native possessed.
