Enduring heat, wind, rain, and sunburn; fending off insects, as well as curious animal, reptile, and human onlookers; chasing the fleeting effects of light and shadows. Why would an artist choose to undergo the hardships associated with painting "en plein air"? Spanish Fork painter Candace Skrabut says she's obviously "plein foolish" or "plein crazy," take your pick.
